These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Gourmi (the "app"). By creating an account or using Gourmi, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
The service
Gourmi is a kitchen assistant that suggests recipes based on ingredients you provide, lets you save recipes to a personal cookbook, and offers a community ("Kitchen Stories") for sharing and discovering recipes.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up, and let us know at danielma9708@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Subscriptions & billing
- Gourmi Premium is offered with a 14-day free trial, followed by a recurring monthly or annual subscription at the price shown in the app at the time of purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account and subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your device's Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions.
- Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple's refund policies — we're not able to issue refunds directly.
AI-generated content & food safety
Recipes, ingredient suggestions, and nutrition estimates in Gourmi are generated with the help of AI and are provided for general inspiration only. They are not professional nutritional, dietary, medical, or food-safety advice.
Always check ingredients yourself before cooking or eating, especially if you have food allergies, intolerances, or a medical condition — AI-generated suggestions can be inaccurate or omit an allergen. Use your own judgment about food safety, cooking temperatures, and ingredient freshness. Gourmi is not responsible for any adverse reaction, illness, or injury resulting from a recipe or suggestion in the app.
Community content ("Kitchen Stories")
You retain ownership of the recipes, photos, comments, and other content you post. By posting, you grant Gourmi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content within the app so other users can view it.
Don't post content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, hateful, or spam. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse Gourmi — for example, by attempting to disrupt the service, scraping data at scale, reverse-engineering the app, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
Intellectual property
The Gourmi name, logo, mascot, and app design are owned by us and may not be used without permission. The curated recipe library is provided for your personal, non-commercial use.
Termination
You can stop using Gourmi and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
Gourmi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including from AI-generated recipe or nutrition content.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use Gourmi after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
